The French Marines of Fort de Chartres participate in many local living history events
throughout the year. The Marines welcome individuals as well as families to their group.
We have a woman's group devoted to portraying the lives of 18th century French women.
If you have a love of history, please consider joining us in preserving and retelling the
important story of the French Marines in Illinois.
